Known for his unmistakable sound and decades of experience behind the decks, Ross stepped away from his current style and leaned into his roots, crafting a soulful house journey inspired by the records that shaped him as a DJ and producer.
Ross slowed things down and dug deep into classic house grooves from the early 2000s and 2010s. A beautiful reminder that sometimes looking back is the best way to discover something new.

What an incredible concept. I really had a lot of fun with this! After much back and forth as to how I wanted to approach the set, I landed on it - my house music roots. When I was getting my start as a producer and DJ (around 2010), my core influences were classic house and raw house with a soulful flavor. I wanted to bring out those vibes and create a journey filled with emotion, euphoria, pure fun, and groove. I had a blast digging for this, bringing back some of my favorite records from the early 2000's and 2010's eras. Compared to my usual sound and sets, this set is more funky and soulful, as opposed to more dubby, minimal and groove focused. I really leaned into making it completely different from what I would normally play these days - which gave it a layer of fun and depth that I wasn't expecting! I also decided to take it way down in tempo - shifting from my normal 126-128 bpm to around 120bpm. I really hope you all enjoy listening to the journey! It is an absolute honor to be included in this awesome series!"
